Fresh berry fruit, sweet fragrant toasted spice and hints of anise. Round and full flavoured with vibrancy and depth. Fine long tannins and persistence of vibrant fresh fruit.

AROMA 

This Shiraz has aromas of blue fruits and blackcurrant, with hints of floral mint, lavender and background chocolate notes. 

PALATE 

Concentrated blue and dark berry fruits, along with background oak spice. The palate is round with good richness and concentration, but also shows vibrancy and depth with fine long tannins and persistence of flavour. 

VINEYARD 

Sourced mainly from vineyards on red loamy clay with a limestone base, which provided the fruit richness and intensity, with a small proportion from the sandier sites on the hillside, to give some freshness and elegance. 

WINEMAKERS NOTES 

Fermented on skins for 5 days. Matured for around 12 months and a proportion was matured with French oak, but the majority was un-oaked to allow the fruit to shine.
