Bodegas De Aguirre is a multi-generation ,family owned winery located in heart of the Chilean country side where grapes have been being grown for over 450 years. The name 1818 comes from the historic year that Chile made their official declaration of independence from
Spain. The symbol of the man on the horse riding into battle is a shadow of Jose de San Martin, the Commander-in-Chief of the
armies of Chile during the war for the countries liberation.
