以「一生懸命,勿忘初心」製酒理念為名的「初」氈酒 ( Debut Gin ),台灣獨立品牌,創立於2019年。

創始人廖偉傑 (Jay Liao) 多年研究各式酒類,領域跨足調製、釀造與蒸餾,於2016年開始致力於研發、並於2019年正式推出氈酒作品。

台灣,這塊美麗的福爾摩沙寶島,孕育著四千多種植物花草,非常適和製作氈酒。

經過三年的時間研發,走訪全台灣,尋找這塊土地上的各種風味。廖偉傑從大量的原生植物與水果中,精選出數十種材料,經過完美不妥協的蒸餾萃取技術,創造出口感純淨、風味濃郁的工藝氈酒作品。並於2024年初次參加英國倫敦的世界氈酒大賽 (World Gin Awards),即拿下「最佳香料氈酒」(Signature Botanical) 金牌暨台灣冠軍。

「初」的極致風味,來自於台灣大自然的餽贈與職人不妥協的製酒堅持。

Log. Series,為初氈酒的常規年度作品,從2019年開始堆出。Log. 2023表現2023當年的「天、地、人」特色。以台灣多種原生植物淬鍊而成,表現出杜松子、草本、水果與辛香料的多重氣息,非常適合純飲。手工製作,每一支酒都有獨立編號與製作者的親手簽名。


Brand Introduction:

Under the philosophy of "Do your best, never forget your original intention," the "Debut Gin" is an indie Taiwanese brand founded in 2019.

The founder, Jay Liao, has spent many years studying various types of alcohol, encompassing mixing, brewing, and distilling. In 2016, he began dedicating himself to research and development, and in 2019, he officially launched his gin creation.

Taiwan, the beautiful island of Formosa, is home to over 4,000 species of plants and flowers, making it an ideal place for producing gin.

After three years of development, exploring all over Taiwan to find various flavors from this land, Jay Liao selected dozens of materials from a vast array of native plants and fruits. Using perfect, uncompromising distillation extraction techniques, he created a pure-tasting, richly flavored handcrafted gin. In early 2024, this gin debuted at the World Gin Awards in London, winning the Gold Medal and Taiwan Champion for Best Signature Botanical Gin.

The exquisite flavor of "Debut" comes from the gifts of Taiwan's nature and the uncompromising dedication of the craftsman.

The Log. Series is the regular annual release of Debut Gin, started in 2019. Log. 2023 embodies the characteristics of "heaven, earth, and people" for that year. Crafted from various native Taiwanese plants, it features multiple layers of juniper, herbs, fruits, and spices, making it perfect for neat drinking. Each handcrafted bottle has a unique number and is personally signed by Jay Liao.

The World Gin Awards select the very best gins in the internationally recognised gin styles and promote the world’s best gins to consumers and trade across the globe.

"This gin presents a bright, zesty citrus aroma that is very inviting. It features a long finish with light floral and fruity gazpacho scents, and a lovely orange flavor with an oily texture. Notes of verbena, lemongrass, spearmint, pine, coriander, and lavender add to its elegance."

"這款氈酒呈現出明亮、濃郁的柑橘香氣,非常誘人。餘味悠長,帶有淡淡的花香和果香、類似西班牙冷湯般的香氣,以及可愛的香橙和油滑的質地口感。馬鞭草、檸檬草、薄荷、松樹、香菜、薰衣草的香氛增添了它的優雅氣息。"
